We are looking for information from data breaches, which we will use for social science research to advance the public good. If you have this kind of information, please contact us using one of the methods listed below.

We are only interested in using data for academic purposes. For more details on the guiding principles of this project, see [here](/ethics).

Here's how you can contact us.

1. If you want to contact us securely and anonymously from a computer, you can use our SecureDrop page. SecureDrop is a service, used by the New York Times, the Guardian, the Intercept and many others, allowing for communication with no leaking of metadata. It is the best technology we know about for secure messaging and data sharing. Here's how to contact us using SecureDrop: [link ](https://www.hmdc.harvard.edu/securedrop.html)
2. If you want to contact us from a phone, you can use an app called Signal, a secure messaging and voice service (you can get it [here](/silverlining/)). You can send us a message or call us on Signal at XXX-XXX-XXXX
3. If you're not worried about anonymity, you can contact us using email at [iqss\_silverlining@protonmail.com.](mailto:iqss_silverlining@protonmail.com)
